EDGE OF THE WEST
with special guest BARRY SLESS

Edge of the West is a hippie country-rock jam band out of Santa
Cruz, CA. Their sun-soaked 70’s sound and deep repertoire of
originals and eclectic covers have delighted fans throughout the
Western US, Alaska and Hawaii since 2015. Edge of the West’s
band members have played with the New Riders of the Purple
Sage, Bill Kreutzmann, Todd Snider, Jefferson Starship, Peter
Rowan, and many more, and they mix these influences in with
their own songwriting and style.

On this special tour Edge of the West will be joined by Barry Sless,
a guitar and pedal steel master who plays with Bob Weir, Phil
Lesh, and many of the greats on the national scene today.. Bassist
Bill Laymon is old friends with Sless, they both were founding
members in the popular David Nelson Band, touring for many
years together. Barry is known for his articulate playing and
extended solos, slowly building to crescendos that completely
rock the joint.
